I am currently a Ph.D. student in the laboratory of Villefranche. I study the impact of meteorological conditions on phytoplankton in the Mediterranean Sea. I like this topic because it concerns one of the most relevant processes on the Earth: the photosynthesis. Photosynthesis allows the transformation of solar energy into sugar (a chemical energy essential for animal life).

My motivation to participate in this project ...

In "mon ocean et moi" I try to share what I learned in oceanography by writing sheets and answering questions of young students. Actually, I think that despite we sometime use a specific language a little bit weird, any concept in science is not very complicated and it would be a shame not to share them with children or even adults.
