Training course for middle and high school teachers – 2015 edition

On Tuesday 3rd and Wednesday 4th February 2015, the Laboratoire d’Océanographie de Villefranche/OOV received about thirty middle and high school teachers from the vicinity of Nice. The « mon océan & moi » team offered a training course covering a wide range of topics such as the observation of the seas and oceans, acidification and plankton.

This training course, which is part of a further education program, has been accompanied from beginning to end by the local school authority (Académie de Nice/Délégation Académique à l'éducation Artistique et Culturelle).
During these two days, all attendees discovered « mon océan & moi » and exchanged with the participants. Representatives of the school authority praised the links between « mon océan & moi » and certain educational programs. The feedback has been very positive and a number of perspectives and upcoming developments have resulted from these two days.
